Archetype Inc‘s president, Melissa White and administrator, Kaydi Saephanh attended the Light The Night Walk Kick Off at the Rose Garden on Wednesday, July 28th. Every year, in communities across North America families, friends and businesses join forces to raise funds for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society‘s (LLS’s) Light The Night Walk. The kick off was a meeting for companies and sponsors reviewing Portland’s own upcoming October walk event and describing ways to fundraise and help with the organization. Rob Noe, cancer survivor also attended, dressed as a superhero naming himself Lymphoma man, (you can follow his amazing story here). Melissa and Kaydi also met with Senior Campaign Manager, Briana De Jong and made further plans for her to visit Archetype’s office on Tuesday, August 2nd to discuss ways of helping to raise funds. Lastly, a raffle took place and president, Melissa White won a garage sale startup kit which will help raise money by having a garage sale! Archetype will be arranging a car wash and also a bake sale sometime in August! Stay tuned for details!
Every Light The Night walker is encouraged to become a Champion For Cures by raising $100 or more to help fight blood cancer.
