Leadership values

Leadership is one of the most critical skills that you need to learn in your job. Most businesses fail because of lack of good leadership. Leaders are instrumental to the success of a business. Every company is in search for the best CEO who will lead the business to success.” Robert Kiyosaki

What sets you apart are the values that keep us functioning at a higher level. What makes you a leader are the values that you instill in yourself and in others. Two values that are an absolute MUST are Integrity and Attitude.

Integrity can be defined as the steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.

Having integrity, however, is the BARE MINIMUM to having any chance at being successful. It’s more than being truthful; it must be seen as honor.
For example;
Do you follow through on things you say?
Are your actions represented well?
Are you looking after your client’s, customer’s, and peer’s best interest at all times?

Bottom line: Are your actions consistent with your set of values, beliefs, and principles?

The standards that you set for yourself will have a signficant impact on your future success as well you those you lead. To be successful in business, integrity is revered as the thing that sets people apart from all others and an integral part of leadership.

Attitude is like integrity, if you can’t keep it, you have no business being in business. Attitude dictates everything. According to a Stanford Research Institute study, success is 88 percent attitude and 12 percent education.

The reasons are clear: Positive people are motivated and productive. They set the tone for those around them. And, they portray a positive image of their company when interacting with their customers and their potential customers. Integrity encapsulates and begets a positive attitude. All of these are critical to every organization’s success.
